Purpose:

Introduce beginners to Naginata, provide
advanced training for participants, and teaching
and referee training for instructors

Requirements:

Instructors Training: Open to those who have
Sandan and up.
Annual Seminar: Open to the public
Examination: USNF members
Tournament: USNF members, ages 18 and up.
Tryouts: USNF members, ages 18 and up.

Contents:
|
Outline history of naginata.
Naginata basics: happoburi, datotsu,
shikakeoji.
Zen Nihon Naginata Kata, basic technique with
bo-gu, kakari-geiko, shiaigeiko, tournament
management, referee training.

Examinations:
|
Kyu and Dan testing up to Sandan will be held on
Sunday, July 9th
|
