Requirements: Referee Training: Open to those who have Sandan and up. Examination: USNF members Tournament: USNF members, ages 13 and up. Contents: The seminar will consist of training in Naginata basics, engi, zen nihon kata and shiai. Correct referee comportment, flag usage and so on will also be covered. A portion of the training will consist of practice matches performed by both seminar participants and volunteer senshu with seminar participants acting as referees. Examinations: Kyu and Dan testing up to Sandan will be held on Sunday, July 27th Fees: Referee Seminar: $50 Tournament Fees: Team match: $50.00 per team, each individual event: $10.00, plus $5:00/person, insurance fee. See application for details. Fee does not include lunch. Make checks payable to USNF. Accomodations: No formal arrangements. USNF Office and NCNF Office can recommend suitable hotels in the area. Application: Note that applications are being coordinated and combined by the regional federations of the USNF.
